Fine-grained white clay with a rustic feel. It is shaped into a plump, round bowl and fired with a light blue glaze that has a rich yet calm feel. This glaze has been loved by many people, but production has been discontinued and it is no longer available. Unexpectedly, production has resumed and we are now able to once again deliver vessels made with this glaze. In traditional Japanese terms, it is called oboroka-iro. It's an indescribable, bright yet sophisticated nuanced blue color. A wide bowl with the lip slightly inward. It is a convenient size that can be used for rice bowls, mixed noodles and other noodles, soups and stews with lots of ingredients, and simmered dishes. Please enjoy it with a variety of dishes. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand.
