These asymmetrical earrings are crafted by linking together purple Roman glass, granulated brass, blue antique beads, andesines, and ethnic bells.
The Roman glass dates back to the Roman Empire (27 BCE - 395 CE).
These pieces are fragments of bangles that have been polished and drilled.
As they were originally part of bangles, they possess a gentle curve.
*Please note that there may be minor chips and scratches.
(Roman glass size: Height 1.5cm, Width 0.7cm)
The blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads, with origins traced back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are unearthed artifacts from Indonesia, dating back to approximately the 10th century – over 1000 years old!
We've paired them with round andesines featuring exquisite cuts.
The granulated beads are brass beads created by the Benin people of Africa, showcasing incredibly fine craftsmanship.
The small bells are components from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan, originally part of adornments, and are considered old pieces.
These bells do not produce sound.
These earrings offer an opportunity to enjoy the sophisticated hues of ancient glass.
