For this series, we use darker-hued teak wood, leveraging its natural grain and subtle variations. Combined with a newly carved tree, we create our pieces. Through selective whitewashing, the original wood grain of the teak is further accentuated, aiming to recreate the gentle warmth of nature through the materiality of natural wood. Teak wood naturally changes in color over time, becoming increasingly lustrous, as if alive, recording the passage of time.
