With continued wear, the leather develops a unique patina over time. **Deerskin Lining** The lining and insoles are made from deerskin. Natural deerskin is extremely soft and gentle on the skin. Its high porosity makes it highly breathable, with sweat absorption and moisture-wicking capabilities far superior to cowhide. However, deer are prone to fighting, and undyed deerskin may show visible skin marks or scars, which cannot be entirely avoided.
