We avoid excessive processing, designing freely and naturally based on the unique characteristics of each piece of leather. So, I don't really have a specific style... In that moment, the words "no specific style" and "Free & Non" came to mind, becoming our brand name. The English name "Free & Non" also reflects our spontaneous and individual approach to creation. ◆ Design Philosophy ◆ We appreciate a raw, rugged aesthetic with minimal processing. Therefore, we preserve the natural state of each piece of leather, cherishing and respecting the unique textures and patterns on every cowhide. Scars and marks left by the cow's life experiences, like bumps or bites, are precisely the features we embrace, much like how we all bear the imprints of our own life journeys. We retain the complete, raw edges of the leather and utilize every scrap of leftover material. Each book is meticulously hand-stitched, creating a one-of-a-kind piece. We share these creations with you, who also appreciate documenting life's moments.
