▋Kochere woreda is located in the Yirgacheffe producing area in southern Ethiopia. It can be said to be one of the highest places on earth to grow coffee.
Due to the high altitude, wild native coffee, and iron-rich soil, the Kochir community is Yirgacheffe's best-quality coffee.
With active citrus sourness, floral aroma, sweet silky taste, Yirgacheffe's famous spice flavor, and complex fruit flavor, Kocher becomes a rare coffee from Yirgacheffe. The cherries they harvest are first manually selected by small farmers in nearby communities (kebeles). Most of the coffee trees are "old vines" and have a classic Ethiopian native flavor.
