Bracelet with African Carnelian Clasp, Antique White & Emerald Beads, and Amber White Hearts

This bracelet is crafted by connecting an African-sourced carnelian clasp, antique white and emerald beads, and amber-colored white hearts. The orange bead used for the clasp is carnelian excavated from Africa, dating back to around the 10th century. While it bears the marks of age, these imperfections contribute to its unique charm. (Size of African-sourced carnelian: 1cm diameter x 0.4cm thickness) The emerald blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads, with origins tracing back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are unearthed in Indonesia and remarkably date to around the 10th century, making them over 1000 years old! Their varied sizes and hues create a captivating visual texture that is endlessly fascinating. The white beads are old Indian beads, their worn appearance imbued with the character of having been cherished for years (circa 19th-20th century). They have been cleaned, but with wear, some of the darker areas will naturally fade, revealing more of their white hue. We hope you'll enjoy witnessing their transformation over time. (Bead size: 3-4mm) The amber-colored beads near the clasp are antique white hearts, named for their white cores. Antique white hearts from the 19th-20th century are becoming increasingly rare. The golden beads are old Oriya brass, rare and aged beads from the state of Orissa in India. The charm near the clasp is also old brass, originating from India. Each tiny Karen silver bead is individually stamped! The meticulous handwork involved is truly awe-inspiring. ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by a hill tribe living in the Thai-Burmese border region. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to be of exceptionally high purity. Connected by two waxed cords, the bracelet will feel somewhat stiff initially but will become supple with wear.
