ZEISS IKON, GERMANY PRE-WW2 BOX TENGOR 54/2 FILM CAMERA ITEM'S CONDITION: GOOD, TESTED The camera is in good working condition. The shutter fires properly at both speeds, aperture strip moves properly, the lens os clean. You can see minor leatherette wearing at edges, red filter shows minor crack, some rust areas at steel parts, repaired leather handle. All those negative features are minor, the camera looks nice and still usable for taking photos. All functions are available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Brand: Zeiss Ikon. * Model: Box Tengor 54/2. * Single blade shutter provide two speeds, one around 1/50 sec, other "B" from hand. Very reliable and simple system. To have "B" shutter speed you should pool up metal strip at left part of top surface. * Film type: 120. * Frame size: 60x90mm. * Frame counter through the special windows on the back wall, you should use special marks and digits at paper substrate of the film loaded. * Lens: Goerz Frontar D.P.R. is non-coated, single-element (monocle). Focal length should be around 110 mm, aperture looks around 5.6, second aperture looks around 11-16. To use small aperture you should pool away metal strip at the top of tje camera.from 3.5 to 32 (no clicks). * Focus free lens, it should provide acceptable sharpness at least between 3m and infinity. * The lens is very clean, no separations, no scratches or fungus. * Two ikonoscope type viewfinders, one for ladscape other for portrait oriented images. * Two tripod sockets 3/8 inch. * The camera was made in Germany in 1920-1930s.
