Morning Glory Brooch (Purple)

This is a morning glory flower brooch. At the end of the first semester, just before summer vacation, I remember clutching the potted morning glories we grew at school, my excitement for the upcoming break overcoming the nervousness of having to show my report card. I'd skip home with a skip in my step. Morning glories, radio calisthenics, the neighborhood pool, watermelon on the porch, the scent of mosquito coils, the chirping of cicadas. A summer filled with the happiness of childhood, returning home in the evening enveloped by the sound of the higurashi cicadas and the aroma of miso soup drifting from nearby homes. Surely, you too have many cherished memories of morning glories... Add a charming touch to the neckline of your knits or shirts! Its lightweight design ensures it stays put, even on delicate knits, without drooping. Secured with a locking swivel pin, it's now less likely to fall off. The original illustration is hardened with a combination of flexible and rigid resin. We use a more flexible resin for delicate parts and thin tips to prevent breakage and snagging during use, so please understand that these areas are intentionally softer. Finally, a glossy finish with UV protection is applied, resulting in a lightweight and lustrous brooch.
