Solder, especially when finished with a copper patina, will naturally oxidize upon contact with air. This process causes a gradual change in color, from bright copper to antique bronze, and eventually to a deep brown. Therefore, the final piece will 'absolutely' not be identical to the photos. We cannot control the specific way the patina evolves. If you are unable to accept the natural variations of oxidized copper, please inform the designer to request a black patina, which exhibits the least change. Recycled vintage glass, often decades old, may exhibit natural imperfections such as scratches, color variations, or air bubbles from its history. Additionally, minor scratches and chipped edges may occur during the glass grinding process (particularly noticeable on clear glass and mirrors), all of which are within normal parameters. ▴ The unique patterns and colors of glass mean that each piece will have its own distinct character. Please engage in a thorough discussion with the designer before ordering to ensure a full understanding. ▴ The solder, whether patinated or not, will develop an oxidized layer over time through exposure to air, leading to a dulling or darkening of the surface. This effect is most pronounced on copper finishes. ▴ This item is not intended for food storage. Even 99% pure solder is not food-grade tin. ▴ While some uncapped containers can hold water, this will accelerate solder oxidation and may result in the formation of white crystalline deposits. ▴ To support environmental sustainability, all items are shipped with minimal, eco-friendly packaging. ▴ For your own protection, please record a video of yourself unboxing the glass item. Care Instructions: ▴ The surface of the solder will form an oxidation layer with prolonged exposure to air. This layer can be gently removed with a toothpick. For daily care, simply wipe with a dry cotton cloth. ▴ For advanced care, you may apply a thin layer of polishing wax (soft wax) to the surface. Allow it to dry, then buff with a dry cotton cloth until it shines.
