Artwork inspired by Liuyingchieh's original creation
Travelogue XI "Sea ‧ Ocean" 2014 Qixingtan Coast Sketch
Gradient sea surface, towering waves~
The design originates from Liuyingchieh's experience of watching the waves at Qixingtan. It is derived from the sketch of Hualien's Qixingtan coast in Liuyingchieh's original creation, the "Travelogue" series XI, "Sea ‧ Ocean". Unlike traditional totems where waves are often depicted from a side angle (spiraling), this piece captures the waves head-on, from a frontal perspective.
《Sea. Infinite》 "O-cean : Infinity"
Watching the waves at Qixingtan, repeating the incoming waves three times, repeating endlessly, repeating into the ocean.
