The natural oils from your hands serve as the most direct form of conditioning. The color of the leather will evolve based on your personal usage habits and the passage of time, which is also a characteristic feature of vegetable-tanned leather. O If not in use for an extended period, periodically apply a light coat of leather oil or mink oil. Store the item in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from sunlight and humidity.
