Notes

● Please read the following registration guidelines carefully before booking. By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions. ● DiHua Half-Day Pottery Studio reserves the right to modify course details. ● Placing an order does not guarantee a confirmed class. Your registration is successful only upon receiving our confirmation. Registration Process 1. Order / Registration * Limited spots are available, and classes are strictly by appointment. Please place your order on Pinkoi to reserve your slot (reservations required 3 days in advance). * After placing your order, our staff will contact you within 3 days to confirm your reservation details. If you do not receive a response, please email us to notify us. Please check your Pinkoi inbox or call us at (02) 2552-8081. 2. Class Confirmation 〇 You will be notified by our staff 3 days before the class date regarding whether the class will proceed. ✖ If the slot is full or the class is canceled, alternative class times will be arranged. 3. Attending the Class * Entry begins 5 minutes before the class starts. Please check in on the 1st floor. * To ensure the class proceeds smoothly, please do not be late. Latecomers exceeding 30 minutes will not be admitted and are not eligible for refunds or make-up classes. * Although the class allows for the creation of two small dishes, each class is for one person only and cannot be shared by two individuals. * For ease of handling, please trim your fingernails before class to prevent clay from getting stuck. * Participants with long hair are advised to tie their hair back before class for convenience. * To protect the rights of paying participants and maintain class quality, each individual must be registered for the course to enter. Companions who are not participating in the workshop are not permitted (children under 6 are an exception, but only one accompanying parent is allowed per child). * Participants are requested to maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the venue and equipment. Any damage incurred will be charged at the cost of repair or replacement. * Occasionally, the organizer may take photos or videos during the class for documentation purposes, which may be uploaded to social media or our official website. Your image may be used for promotional activities or other recruitment channels. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform our staff at the event, and we will make special arrangements. 4. Firing Process * The process handled by the instructor after class includes: Shaping → Drying → Bisque Firing → Glazing → Glaze Firing → Final Inspection. This entire process takes approximately 4-6 weeks. * As clay and glaze are natural materials, variations in glaze color, shape, minor imperfections such as air bubbles, glaze drips, bumps, or small cracks are normal due to high-temperature firing. We appreciate your understanding. 5. Picking Up Your Finished Work 1. Mail Delivery: * The shipping fee for one piece is NT$180. For additional pieces sent to the same address, there will be an NT$80 charge per extra piece. Please pay the shipping fee in cash on the day of the class. We ensure all items are inspected and carefully packaged before shipping (partially using recycled packaging to benefit the environment). However, we are not responsible for damage incurred during transit due to multiple transfers or rough handling. We regret that we cannot be held liable for any damage or loss during shipping. **※ Shipping fees for outlying islands and international destinations are calculated separately and can be paid upon delivery or in advance on the class day.** 2. In-Person Pickup: * Due to limited space, please pick up your completed work within 2 months of notification. After this period, we will no longer provide individual notifications and will clear unclaimed items from our shelves. * We are not responsible for the safekeeping of your work after notification of completion and before you pick it up (e.g., if it breaks due to an earthquake). Please retrieve your work as soon as possible. ● Postponement/Refund Policy * In case of force majeure events such as natural disasters, we will proactively contact you to arrange for postponement or a refund. * For typhoons, class commencement and refund policies will be based on the work suspension announcements in Taipei City (our location) and your registered location. * If you wish to cancel your class, please contact the organizer by phone or email in advance to allow us to adjust seating arrangements. Cancellations made within 5 working days before the class date (including the class date itself) are not eligible for a full refund. A 70% refund will be issued, with 30% retained as an administrative fee.
