JIT-HUE · Sun Flower 𓂃 IN DAPPLED LIGHT
/ Echoes of sunlight, blooming flowers day by day
The "Jit-hue" (Sun Flower) series, crafted from vibrant red glass, is a collection of artistic glass creations imbued with Taiwanese local culture. Using glass as a medium, it aims to capture the fluidity and ephemerality of light as it passes through different materials. Through the transparency, refraction, and crackling textures of glass, this series freezes the interplay of light and shadow, childhood memories, and the flow of everyday emotions within the glass itself.

Inspired by this landscape of food and drink, the Jit-hue light drinking glass inherits the comforting feel and stable low base of traditional Taiwanese bubble tea glasses, reinterpreted with contemporary craftsmanship.

The rim gently flares outwards like flower petals, while the ice-crackled texture leaves traces of light on the body.

When the sunlight slants, each cup casts a unique, dappled shadow on the table, much like the gentle, irregular light of "Jit-hue" filtering through clouds and leaves, gracing our days.

Six color spectra drawn from everyday Taiwanese life.
These six color palettes form the spectrum of everyday Taiwanese life, where each color does not exist in isolation but converses, overlaps, and blends within the transparent medium of glass.

The magical moment of the "fried water" technique: when high-temperature glass meets ice water, beautiful crackles bloom like flowers within the glass.
