This is a luxurious cup sleeve crafted from Tochigi Leather. It's designed to fit standard disposable paper cups. Its distinctive appearance is achieved by joining five pieces of leather with baseball stitching, all done by hand. The handle has a substantial thickness of approximately 8mm, offering a firm and stable grip that makes it comfortable to hold even when carrying hot coffee or tea. I personally use paper cups every day and created this sleeve out of a desire for something both practical and visually appealing. While originally made for my own studio, the positive response from customers who saw it when serving coffee inspired me to offer it for sale. The natural, undyed leather is highly absorbent. If you spill a drink, gently dampen the entire affected area with a soft sponge and let it dry. This method helps to minimize the appearance of stains. If you notice a stain after it has dried, it's best not to try and forcefully scrub it, as this can damage the leather. The stain will naturally become less noticeable over time as the leather ages. Generally, leather oils or creams are not necessary. The minimal oils from your hands are usually sufficient for nourishment.
