Pottery, handmade, hand-painted, one-of-a-kind
Length 20cm Width 22.5cm Height 2cm
White decorative mud is applied to black clay, and then lines are engraved and painted to create an almost oval deformed plate with an abstract design.
It looks like a colorful wave.
This plate has a handmade feel, made by roughly cutting out stretched clay freehand and raising the edges.
The piece is smooth due to the glossy transparent glaze applied, but the traces of the carvings give it an uneven texture that looks like scratches.
Black soil is generally heavy, but this one is thick and heavy, so you can really feel the texture of the earth when you pick it up.
*Unlike porcelain, pottery (earthenware) has a soft, warm ceramic surface.
There may also be pinholes (holes in the glaze) or small chips in the glaze which do not affect the use of the product, but we hope you will consider these to be part of the unique character of earthenware and its charm.
This is the unique imperfect beauty, or charm, of earthenware.
Since pottery is made from clay, when you hold it in your hands it gives a more rustic impression than it does in pictures.
However, that's only at the beginning, and once you get used to it, you'll start to appreciate the real thing, its texture and simplicity.
*The color of the actual product may not be exactly the same as the image, depending on the device you are using.
I adjust images and list items on my PC, but they seem to look more vivid on a smartphone.
Recently, we have been trying to match the colors to those on smartphones, but please be aware that there may be differences in color between the image and the actual product.
