Our geometric figures puzzle is a basic wooden toy for development of fine motor skills of fingers. This is a developmental manual for classes with a child according to the Maria Montessori methods. It helps to develop the sorting skills and defining the shapes of simple geometric figures. Together with the child, you take out the figure, call the name and color of it and put it separately from the tablet. Then you take out the next one and so on until you get out all the pieces. Then ask the child to return all the pieces to their “houses”. Again call the figure, the color and the child must find the appropriate shape and put the figure in it by himself. This is a very useful activity for children of one year or more. Don’t worry if the baby pulls this toy into his mouth. Every piece is no less than 4x4 cm.
