For the cookie dough, Yunduo uses Isigny butter from France and eggs from our own farm. The cookie dough contains no additives. The unique aroma after baking the fermented butter combined with the egg fragrance makes the cookie dough truly delicious on its own! For the icing, we use Wilton meringue powder from the USA, which eliminates any eggy smell or concerns about raw egg. While it is possible to make icing with egg whites, we do not use natural egg whites because the average baking temperature for icing is 35 degrees Celsius, which is not enough to cook the egg whites. Some people may be hesitant to consume uncooked egg whites. Therefore, using meringue powder is the best option, and it also allows for a longer shelf life.
