Pointillism Volume 1 : A Graphic Novel by KOONG

This book is a collection of all 50 comic episodes that I have drawn and published on various platforms, with some episodes redrawn. Most of the stories are in the slice-of-life genre, featuring Dan and Kraam and their friends, under the title Pointillism. Pointillism is an art technique using small dots of different colors to form an image. When placed close together, these dots blend in our eyes, though the actual colors remain unchanged. I chose this name for the comic because, like the painting, each person has their own colors representing their identity and preferences. We embrace our differences, and when these unique colors come together, they create the illusion of new colors without changing the original ones. ---------------------------------------- Koong, the illustrator and storyteller, celebrates the diversity of people, weaving extraordinary tales of life and relationships through his unique perspective. When it comes to character design, He values the diversity in body shapes, whether between slim and larger individuals or tall and short people. These contrasts contribute to distinctive moments within relationships and add an endearing quality. My paired characters showcase clear physical distinctions, allowing them to truly shine. This emphasis on diversity enhances the authenticity and charm of their love story.
