This bracelet is crafted by connecting a variety of earth-toned Roman glass, antique Bohemian beads, tiny brass beads, jade, and moss agate. The slender beads and bird-shaped beads are Roman glass, dating back to the Roman Empire (27 BCE - 395 CE). The slender beads are slightly curved as they were made from bangles. While there are minor chips, they do not affect normal wear. The clear, oval, and round beads are early 20th-century Bohemian beads. They have scratches from age, but this only adds to their incredible charm! (Bohemian bead size: 0.8cm wide, 0.6cm tall). The yellowish, abacus-shaped beads are jade. The tiny, textured beads are brass beads crafted by the Benin people of Africa, featuring incredibly intricate details! The blue-green, slightly irregular, bun-shaped beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads, with origins tracing back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are archaeological finds from Indonesia, dating back to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! We've paired these with abacus-shaped and multi-faceted moss agate beads.
