A charming coin case crafted from marbled leather, dyed in soft, delicate hues with a lovely floral pattern.
The exquisite marbling, achieved through careful rubbing, is enhanced with an antique finish, lending the leather a rich, aged character. A water-based coating is applied for the final touch.
The edges are adorned with colorful macrame stitching, meticulously created through the repetitive process of sewing and weaving.
It fastens with a deerskin cord, featuring a horn button from Nepalese water buffalo bone and accented with Karen silver from Thailand.
Engraved with a hexagram and the "itoasobi" motif, with the "itoasobi" stamp also present on the lining.
Initially firm, the leather will gradually soften and develop a unique character with continued use.
