Mao Mao Tree on the Mountain - Illustrated Postcard

"Whoosh—" The "Mao Mao" burrowed into the tree's pores. With their many feelers, the Mao Mao could sense the changing mountain temperatures and the tree's body heat. They drifted around, entering the tree's pores when it grew cold, extending their feelers to sway with the wind, regulating the tree's temperature. The Mao Mao looked like the tree's furry coat. ---------- Many trees on the high mountains are covered in lichens, mosses, and ferns. Every time I see them, I'm captivated. It's magical how they envelop the tree, with longer strands swaying in the wind – a veritable "Mao Mao" tree!
