As a long-time vegetarian, she and her husband Brother Wang are committed to not harming any living beings, making their orchard a vibrant haven for insects and small animals. They meticulously bag each fruit to protect it from fruit flies, though even then, the flies can be seen buzzing around the leaves, patiently waiting. Tiny ant nests are nestled at the base of the leaves.
