Teapot (black) S size designed by artist Yumiko Iihoshi.
Wanting to create a teapot that would look out of place in the kitchen, we commissioned Banko-yaki Pottery, a pottery manufacturer that continues to make Banko-yaki teapots, to create the product.
The body, lid, handle, spout, and other parts are hand-ground on a potter's wheel and then connected. The product goes through several steps by craftsmen until it is finished. Each lid is individually rubbed onto the main body, so it fits snugly and feels great.
The fine-grained base material is used and is baked without glaze, so the tea scent is not easily absorbed and you can enjoy the scent of each tea. Please enjoy some delicious tea.
A teapot with an impressive clean form that you won't find anywhere else. It has a sharp spout and does not leave any scent behind, so it can be used for various types of tea.
The S size can hold two small cups of tea (approximately 200ml when filled with water), making it a teapot that can be used by one person to enjoy a small cup of tea.
