Taiwan endemic species, Actias heterogyna, surgical steel ear cuff, illustrated earrings

The Actias heterogyna, native to Taiwan, is known as the "Luna Moth." Belonging to the Saturniidae family, it is a large moth species. The male features golden wings, while the female displays a beautiful aqua-green hue, and they primarily inhabit the low to medium altitude mountainous regions of Taiwan. Captivated by the stunning aqua-green color of the female, I chose her for this design. The wings are accented with silver powder that glimmers as you move. Handcrafted piece featuring elements derived from original hand-painted watercolors. The moth measures approximately 2*2.8cm. Available for the right ear only. The metal is hypoallergenic surgical steel. The ear clip features a round bead to reduce pressure on the ear.
