Tung trees are planted all over Taiwan. Every early summer, tung blossoms can be appreciated everywhere. Tung blossoms are also known as "May Snow." Every May, the tung flowers are in full bloom. When the wind blows gently, the petals fall like snow!
The illustration of the tung blossom is by the meticulous brush artist, Ms. Chuang Kuei-Chu. Ms. Chuang Kuei-Chu was born in the Hakka village of Yangmei, and her affection for tung blossoms is evident in her work.
