【About Color Change】
Due to the properties of chromium inclusions, alexandrite appears blue-green in sunlight or under light sources without heat (fluorescent lights, LEDs), and exhibits a reddish reflection under nighttime lighting (incandescent bulbs, lamps, candles, or other heat-emitting light sources).
Even with LEDs, a reaction can be observed under warmer light tones.
The stones in this batch show a characteristic where red light flickers from within a base of blue-green.
The photos showcasing the red light were taken while illuminating the stones with a standard incandescent bulb.
Please note that even at night, they will appear blue-green under LEDs or fluorescent lights.
Furthermore, they occasionally reflect red light even under direct sunlight during the day.
Close-up images are provided for a detailed view, so please examine them carefully.

Metal: Surgical Stainless Steel 316L / Gold Color (Nickel-free plating)
Synthetic Alexandrite: Approx. 6mm
■ Alexandrite: June Birthstone
Discovered in 1830, alexandrite is considered one of the four major precious gemstones. It is a variety of chrysoberyl.
Initially mistaken for emerald upon discovery, its unique ability to change color from blue-green under daylight to red under nighttime illumination (incandescent bulbs, lamps, candles, etc.) was identified, creating a sensation. Today, it is counted among the world's rarest gemstones. While Russian alexandrite is famously known, most sources are now said to be depleted, with prices vastly different (though this batch is not from Russia; to keep costs down by avoiding individual stone appraisal fees, the origin is unspecified). Currently, it is found in Sri Lanka, Brazil, Russia, India, Tanzania, and Madagascar.
*Please note that this piece uses synthetic alexandrite.
