<Beginner Grouting Class> Course Introduction
You will learn:
This workshop combines three forming methods: hand kneading, plaster molding and grouting, to let everyone experience the various possibilities of pottery making. In addition to on-site demonstrations, we also teach everyone how to fine-tune the adobe after the mold is turned over and learn different forming techniques. This time, we specially selected porcelain slurry made of Japanese porcelain clay, which has good plasticity and high bonding properties. The finished works are not only suitable for brewing various types of tea, but also have both practicality and beauty.
One of the lidded bowls has a standard rim, while the other has a slightly deformed design, allowing everyone to experience firsthand the precision and freedom of grouting in plaster molds!
Finished Works:
1. 2 pcs of lidded bowl body (two types of injection molds)
- Covered bowl A Regular size: Ø 8.5 cm *7.5 cm Capacity: 60 ml
- Covered bowl B Irregular edge: Ø 9 cm *7.5 cm Capacity: 60 ml
2. Two lids (one for pot knob, one for hand-kneading)

1. To maintain the quality of teaching, please do not be late. Do not record or tape during class.
2. Refund policy: 70% refund for cancellation one week before class. No refund for cancellation during the class week.
3. It takes one and a half months for the kiln to be fired, please wait patiently. Please choose to pick it up in the store or mail it (150 yuan), and register at the counter on the same day.
4. After class, the teacher will glaze the tiles on your behalf. Please inform the teacher of the color you would like to choose during class.
As the classroom is located in an alley, it is recommended that friends who come to the store ride a motorcycle or take the MRT (MRT Yuanshan Station) for convenience.
