rabbit butt plate - Plates & Trays - Pottery Blue

Product Description

Using the white rabbit of Inaba as a motif, I used a blue pigment called Gosu to draw the bottom of a rabbit on a square plate. The jagged edges are inspired by crocodile teeth. Not only can it be used as a normal plate, but it can also be used as a plate stand to decorate the New Year. Since it is a plate, it can be easily cleaned even if it is decorated and dusted. 【material】 pottery 【size】 about 12 cm long about 2cm deep [Handling method/Precautions] ●Since pottery is water absorbent, the smell and color of food and drinks may transfer, so we recommend that you seal the pot before use. ●Crack-like streaks created by the difference in contraction rate between the base material and the glaze are called intrusions. Penetration goes inside the glaze, so you can use it with confidence. ●Mangetsuyo works use natural clay, so the organic matter contained in the glaze will become small dents after firing, and you may see small pin depressions on the surface. This is called a pinhole, and is a phenomenon peculiar to pottery. ●Mangetsuyo works use natural clay, so the iron contained in the clay may remain as small black or brown dots after firing. There is no problem in using the color inside the base or between the base and the glaze, so please use it with confidence. ●The unglazed part on the back of the vessel is rough. In order to prevent the table from being scratched, we recommend laying out a placemat or other rug. ●Please refrain from using the dishwasher, microwave oven, oven, or open fire.
