Among agarwood from the Xingzhou series, Borneo is considered one of the most premium producing regions. This vast Indonesian island, covering about three-quarters of Borneo, is roughly 15 times the size of Taiwan, yet its population is only half. Borneo's rainforests are abundant, particularly renowned for agarwood. In recent years, due to extreme harvesting, its production has drastically decreased, making high-quality Borneo agarwood quite rare and its acquisition a matter of luck.
Borneo agarwood is characterized by its rich, deep fragrance, often accompanied by a cool sensation, sometimes blending with notes of frankincense or fruity florals. Its taste is mellow and sweet, making it an ideal choice for consumers seeking premium agarwood.

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1983, with a background in craft design, Kwood wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused the old alleys with warm, profound vitality. These objects, like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and outlines of the future, sought a subtle balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into delicate works that closely connect the vision of a new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for its scent, was traditionally placed in the most prominent locations in Japanese homes, symbolizing vitality and light.
Sourced directly from its origin, this agarwood is pure and unblemished, free from artificial treatments like boiling resin, drawing lines, or added fragrances. It is presented in its most natural state. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layers of deadwood are meticulously hand-peeled, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to subtly intertwine at your fingertips, creating a feast for the eyes and senses. Its rich aroma, like solidified time, gently draws together past memories and future aspirations, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, continuously extending, distant and profound.
