【Workshop(s)】Ladder self-turning hand-made calligraphy workshop (Hong Kong)

Book binding does not have to be complicated. Use the "Jacob's Ladder" binding method for mechanical books to create a self-opening book and enjoy the fun of bookmaking. The class will introduce all the necessary tools for binding, and learn basic skills such as cutting paper, cutting thick board paper, and making hard book covers. Tutor profile: Tiana Wong, Master of Arts and Literature from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Arts and Arts from Royal Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, majoring in painting, qualified as a Japanese picture book story tutor and Japanese toy game tutor, and holds a diploma in picture book creation and culture and art therapy (emotional orientation) Certificate. Specializing in various bookmaking techniques, he has been engaged in creation and education for more than ten years. He is good at providing in-depth guidance to students. During teaching, he can always briefly provide a variety of methods to help students achieve their goals. Tiana founded the mini gashapon book project "Danzhi" in 2012, and established "Small Book Publishing" to publish several of her own publications and picture books. He also planned the first to fourth Hong Kong Book Arts Festival as a curator and has been interviewed by many media.
