Red earthenware clay, offering the warmth and texture characteristic of pottery.
Shaped like a broadleaf tree's leaf and finished with a brushstroke pattern using white glaze.
This uniquely shaped bowl, with a single indentation on its round form, resembles a petal or a heart.
It possesses a charming quality while allowing you to directly feel the earthiness of the clay, creating a simple, rustic vessel.
Its depth allows it to securely hold dishes with sauces.
Furthermore, vessels that evoke the earth's texture pair beautifully with ingredients nurtured by the soil, bringing a comforting atmosphere to your dining table.
Ideal for dishes like nikujaga (meat and potato stew), simmered root vegetables, agedashi tofu, jibu-ni (a Kyoto-style stew), pumpkin with ground meat sauce, or dressed spinach.
This bowl shines when you want to serve small portions.
The creation process is entirely by hand, from clay kneading to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, utilizing a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel at home.
The plump, rounded form, soft texture, and slight heft convey the essence of pottery.
While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the charm of handmade craftsmanship.
The item you receive will be the same as pictured.
The base has been sanded to minimize scratching your table.
We explore various glazes and clays, constantly seeking the best combinations, and create pottery in a wide range of colors and shapes.
Each piece is unique, seemingly similar but truly one-of-a-kind, as exact replication is impossible.
We would be delighted if you find a piece that resonates with you.
We hope you can enjoy the atmosphere woven by the pottery clay and glaze as a touch of color in your daily life.

*Important Notes for Purchase and Use*
・Due to the nature of pottery, it is absorbent. In some cases, colors may seep into crazing or moisture may appear to seep through.
Therefore, we apply a water-stopping treatment to our tableware using a ceramic sealant before shipping, so there is no need for initial glazing (medome).
This water-stopping treatment requires 2-3 days, which is why we set the shipping period to 5 days from order placement.
If you do not require the water-stopping treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase.
・We strive to photograph and edit product images to be as close to the actual product as possible, but please understand that colors may appear different depending on your monitor environment and lighting conditions.
・As we also sell on other sites, in the rare event of overlapping purchases, priority will be given to the customer who completes the purchase process first. We appreciate your understanding.
・While you can use them in a microwave (for reheating) and dishwasher, the vibrations from microwaves and the high-pressure spray of hot water may accelerate deterioration. We kindly ask that you refrain from using them in these appliances as much as possible.
・Please refrain from using in ovens or over direct heat.
・After use, to prevent stains and mold, please wash thoroughly, dry completely, and then store in your cupboards.
