Name Story:
Pedder Street, formerly known as Bethel Street, is an important street in Central, Hong Kong and connected to the northern end of Wyndham Street. From Queen's Road Central in the south, it stops at Central Road to Connaught Road Central, and is located in the heart of Hong Kong. Pedder Street is currently one-way northbound. The street to be hit is to commemorate the name of Thomas Batchelor, the first Chief Secretary for Administration in Hong Kong. Because "must-hit" in the Chinese name of bingchu can be interpreted as "must fight", people at that time were accustomed to reading bailing Street as a pedicle.
