Shell Cordovan is transported by sea from Europe, undergoing prolonged aging and tanning processes. The dense, fine fibers unique to the horse's hindquarters are then meticulously shaved from the reverse side, further matured, and dried. This entire process takes over 10 months to complete. Consequently, Shell Cordovan is often referred to as the "King of Leathers" or the "Diamond of Leathers," a title befitting its distinctive luster and robust texture.
