| Before You Buy |
◆ Each piece is purely handmade, with slight variations in measurement. Please consider carefully if precise dimensions are critical.
◆ Due to differences in glazing techniques and firing temperatures during the kiln process, every ceramic piece possesses unique textures, lines, spots, and crackles. Therefore, even within the same series, no two items will be exactly alike.
◆ The crackles in ceramic products are formed during the firing process. Combined with the natural porous nature of the clay, if frequently used for dark teas over time, the tea's color will naturally seep into the crackles, deepening the original texture and forming a unique character. If you prefer to avoid this color change, for lighter-colored pieces, we recommend soaking them in rice water and heating gently for 20-30 minutes before first use. This allows the starch to fill the pores, which can help reduce color absorption.
◆ You may notice small white spots on the bottom of ceramic items. This is the clay used to support the piece during firing; it may adhere to the base when demolded. Product photos show the item in its original state. Before official shipment, the white clay on the bottom will be lightly sanded. If you are very particular about details, please contact us for confirmation before placing your order.
