Because of the deconstructed painting method, the first layer applied will be the most vibrant. As you build layers, you'll apply less and less detail, making the initial layer crucial for establishing the overall mood and composition.

**The Creation Process**
We use transparent glass containers to showcase the layered effect. You'll need to manage the wax temperature to prevent your freshly painted layers from melting. It's also important to plan what you want to depict in each deconstructed layer from the start to enhance the artwork's three-dimensionality and sense of perspective.

The oil painting candle workshop doesn't require advanced painting skills; capturing the feeling is what matters. Sometimes, abstraction lends itself to a more artistic expression. When not in use, cover the candle with its glass lid to turn it into a decorative tabletop piece, or place it on a small easel to give your artwork a professional touch!

A gentle reminder 👉 It's best to avoid overly figurative or detailed images, as candles are not canvases and cannot accommodate fine details. Abstract or Impressionist works are ideal for this craft.

・If registering the day before or on the day of the class, please contact us to confirm if the session has been confirmed before registering.
・Upon completing your order and checkout, the purchase details serve as your registration confirmation. No physical tickets will be issued. Please arrive at the venue at your scheduled session time for check-in. No separate SMS or pre-class notifications will be sent.
・Orders that are not checked out are considered incomplete registrations. Once a class is full, no further registrations will be accepted. Unpaid orders will not be included in the participant list.
・If you are unable to attend or wish to reschedule after payment, please contact us via our fan page or call (02) 2371-4171 at least 3 days in advance. The following refund policy applies:
- Refunds requested more than sixty (60) days before the class start date will receive a 95% refund of the total actual payment.
- Refunds requested between fifty-nine (59) and eight (8) days before the class start date will receive a 90% refund of the total actual payment.
- Refunds requested between seven (7) and one (1) day before the class start date will receive an 80% refund of the total actual payment.
- Rescheduling is permitted for sessions within the following 2 months. Please proactively inform us of your chosen session. Failure to do so will be considered forfeiture. If you cannot arrange a rescheduled time, please opt for a refund.
- For cancellations on the day of the workshop, no refunds or reschedulings will be accepted, as materials and venue arrangements will have been completed. No-shows will be considered forfeiture.
- To ensure the rights of other participants, arriving more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled session will be considered a no-show and forfeiture.
- For refunds, please contact us and provide your bank account details (account number and name). All refunds will be processed via bank transfer.
・Participants must be 10 years of age or older to register.
・Only ticket holders may participate. Non-ticket holders are not permitted to accompany or join the activity unless a child requires parental assistance to complete the task, or in special cases where parents and children wish to participate together. Please call the venue in advance to inquire about such exceptions.
・If the number of registered participants for a session is less than 6 two days prior to the scheduled start date, xiabenhow reserves the right to cancel the session and offer participants the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
・Please arrive on time for the event. Punctuality is essential for a smooth workshop experience.
・Food and beverages are not permitted in the workshop space. This class includes complimentary self-serve black or green tea.
・Participants must adhere to the venue rules and follow the instructor's guidance.
・In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, xiabenhow will proactively contact participants to arrange for rescheduling or refunds.
・The organizer may take photographs and videos during the experience for documentation and promotional purposes on xiabenhow's social media channels. Photos and videos containing your image may be used in event records or other recruitment promotional materials.
・If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform a staff member at the event, and we will make appropriate arrangements.
