Authentic Baku model from 1955 to 1970. Chess set from USSR, one of the most iconic models used in numerous top level tournaments. Made uniquely from wood. Very well weighted with metal spacers (which is rare for this set, normally these sets were weighted with sand). Quite condition (rare to find). Coated with classic Soviet chess varnish. Nostalgic smell from USSR still there. King 10,5 cm; pawn 5,6 cm.
