The crescent-shaped crystal, unearthed in Afghanistan, dates back approximately 1500 years to the Roman era. This is a rare and coveted ancient crystal featuring a rider motif! While it bears some historical marks, contemplating their origins adds to its unique charm. These beads showcase the beautiful banding characteristic of agate, with their charming irregularities adding to their appeal. The beads in varying shades of purple and red are antique "white heart" beads, named for their white cores. These Venetian beads, dating from the 19th to 20th centuries, feature a captivating mix of grape-like purples and deep reds. While red white heart beads are common, this purple hue is particularly rare.
