Embroidered patches are commonly known as embroidered appliques, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidery pieces. However, most embroidered patches require ironing to adhere them to fabric materials or to cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that is sticky without ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them ideal for decorating water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more! Let's create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple~ ▪️ Smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they won't easily come off! ▪️ Fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Use a pressing cloth to protect the embroidery thread from high heat. Iron back and forth for 20-25 seconds. Let it cool to set firmly. For added durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure a secure attachment! 🏷 What if I can't iron, or I'm unsure if a fabric can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you are unsure about ironing, we recommend sewing the patch on with a sewing machine or by hand to prevent high heat from damaging your fabric. 🏷 How is the adhesive on the embroidered patches? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive backing. They are not likely to fall off when applied to regular smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron to secure and reinforce with stitching for increased durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with stitching, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily coming off. We recommend placing them inside a laundry bag and washing them inside out. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend deciding on the placement before sticking. If you wish to reuse the patch after removal, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric with a machine or by hand for decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after sticking and removing the embroidered patches? Our embroidered patches have strong adhesion, so some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before cleaning, please check if your item's surface material is suitable for the cleaning agent to avoid damaging your item. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on embroidered patches melts with heat, becoming stickier and harder to remove!
