Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused ancient alleys with warm, profound vitality. These objects, like fragments of time, carry traces of history and outlines of the future, seeking a subtle balance between opposition and harmony. They transform into delicate works, closely connecting the vision of a new generation with the simplicity of old eras. Agarwood, once ground into powder for its scent, was solemnly placed in the most auspicious areas of homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
The agarwood originates from its source, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes like boiling glue, drawing lines, or adding fragrances. It is presented in its most original form. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layers of the deadwood are meticulously peeled away by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also allows tradition and modern craftsmanship to subtly intertwine in the hands, creating a feast for the eyes and the senses. Its rich aroma is like the condensation of time, gently drawing together past memories and future aspirations, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, continuously extending, distant, and profound.
