Necklace with Garden Rutilated Quartz, Bohemian Beads, Roman Glass, Colorful Brass, Indigo Blue Beads, and Moss Agate

This is a necklace strung with garden rutilated quartz, Bohemian beads, Roman glass, colorful brass, indigo blue beads, and moss agate. It features a teardrop-shaped garden rutilated quartz. You can see moss-like inclusions and needle-like golden inclusions within. The stone bead is multi-faceted cut, possessing a decadent beauty. (Garden Quartz Size: 1.3cm vertical, 0.9cm horizontal) The clear, oval beads are Bohemian beads from the early 20th century. They have scratches from age, but this only adds to their wonderful atmosphere! (Bohemian Bead Size: 0.8cm horizontal, 0.6cm vertical) The slender beads are Roman glass, dating back to the Roman Empire era (27 BCE - 395 CE). The tubular ones are slightly curved as they were made from what were once bangles. As they are old, there are small chips, but they do not affect normal use. The abacus-shaped beads are also Roman glass. We've interspersed African brass beads in oval and spiral shapes, as well as brass from Sulawesi and brass that was once part of an old necklace. The indigo blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to be from the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are excavated items from Indonesia, dating back to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! The abacus-shaped and cut round beads are moss agate. The clasp is an S-hook, allowing for wear on either side. This necklace evokes a sense of decadent beauty.
