When we wear crystals, we resonate with their energy, which is why __regularly purifying crystals is important__. It is recommended to establish a habit of purifying crystals regularly, for example, on the 1st of each month or during the full moon (the 15th of the lunar calendar). There are many ways to purify crystals, with detailed explanations available in books and online. While soaking in saltwater is often mentioned, some crystals and metals are fragile and can be damaged by salt or water. Therefore, Joyce personally does not recommend soaking in saltwater. If you have amethyst or clear quartz chips, or a geode or cluster, you can place your crystals directly on or in them when not wearing them. Of course, the chips, geodes, and clusters used for purification should also be purified regularly, such as by sun exposure or moonlight purification. Joyce finds __smudging__ to be the most effective method! You can light palo santo, dried cedar leaves, dried sage leaves, or incense sticks, and __purify with the smoke__.
