A slightly larger vermilion white heart bead adorns the clasp loop, while smaller ones are delicately placed along the strands, adding a touch of color. These are called "white heart" beads because their core is white. Originating from Venice around the 19th-20th century, these rare beads, with their deep red hue achieved by firing with gold, are known as "vermilion white heart" beads. The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare and antique beads sourced from the Orissa region of India. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is meticulously stamped!
