Hanging a Shimenawa at the entrance or indoors signifies the demarcation of a clean space, warding off external disturbances and welcoming the "Toshigami" (New Year's Deity), praying for peace and prosperity for the entire family in the coming year. As we handcraft a Shimenawa, each interwoven fiber carries our hopes for the future, transforming this traditional ornament into a warm presence that guards our homes. 🌿 Workshop Highlights & Floral Materials This workshop features carefully selected, high-quality floral materials to create a three-dimensional and richly layered Shimenawa for you: • Red Sola Flower: Serving as the visual centerpiece, Sola flowers are handcrafted from the Aeschynomene genus and possess excellent absorption properties.
