Forest green and white mat vase

Fine-grained white clay that brings out the vivid colors of the glaze. The glaze has a deep green color like the color of a forest, and the other is a smooth, slightly off-white matte glaze. By combining these pieces, I created a neat, square-shaped vase. I have an electric potter's wheel and a small electric furnace at home, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, carving, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We aimed to create a vase that would give you a simple, calm atmosphere and clean appearance that is characteristic of pottery. It is a lot heavier than a regular vase, but it is more stable and you can place flowers in it with confidence. Ceramics are naturally absorbent, so we will apply a waterproofing agent to prevent water from getting into the material. We have confirmed that by using this waterproofing agent, no water will seep out for approximately 40 hours, however, there is a possibility that a small amount of evaporated water may come out from the bottom, making the area feel slightly damp. If this bothers you, you may be able to use the product safely by placing a cloth mat underneath. The item you receive will be the same as the product image. In order to avoid damaging tables and other surfaces as much as possible, the contact surface will be sanded down before delivery. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations.
