These earrings are crafted by connecting plump antique uranium glass with abundant amethyst & green agate, and small flowers made of white mother-of-pearl, alongside tribal beads.
The plump, lemon-yellow beads derive their color from a minuscule amount of uranium, causing them to glow under blacklight! These are Bohemian beads, also known as Vaseline glass, dating back to the early 20th century. As they are antique, they bear some scratches, but these imperfections only add to their charm, evoking a sense of history. This is a rare shape for uranium glass. (Uranium glass size: 1.2cm height, 1.3cm width)
Round green agate and faceted amethyst are clustered together like ripe fruit.
Small 3- and 4-petal flowers carved from white mother-of-pearl are incorporated. These are charming beads with the unique luster and warmth characteristic of shell. They are gently secured between small Karen silver beads with 18K gold plating.
The bells are antique components from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan, originally part of decorative items.
These earrings evoke the image of small flowers illuminated by moonlight.
