MC MIR-24M F/2 35 mm WIDE ANGLE LENS FOR M42 ZENIT, PENTAX, PRACTICA

MIR-24M is RARE wide angle multi-coated (MC) lens for Soviet SLR 35 mm ZENIT cameras. This can be fit on the PENTAX and PRACTICA cameras too. You can see a lot of MIR-24N lenses dedicated for Nikon F type bayonet, and rear part of the lens can be changed to M42, but springblend aperture driver will not work with M42. MIR-24M is very pretty and sharp lens, as I think, it is based at ideas of Flektogon 35mm lens. It has a big relative aperture, and it allow to adjust sharpness with poor lightning. In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+++ The glass is very clean, with no any scratches, separations or fungus. Cosmetically the lens is in fine condition, just examine item's photos, please. Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is smooth too. All functions available. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Focus 35 mm. * Focusing is manual, from 0.3m to "infinity". * Angle of view 63 degrees. * Relative aperture 1:2.0, minimum 16 (adjusting with clicks). * The aperture have the driver pin for "jumping" to pre-installed meaning. * The lens has very nice "A"-"M" aperture selector, it will very useful if You'll use different devices (for example macro rings) which have no springblend aperture driver. * Mounting: M42 x 1mm groove (known also as a Pentax screw mount), it can be mounted to other SLR cameras made abroad (Praktica, Chinon, Yashika, Bessaflex etc). * Mounting for modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. * Optical registration 45.5 mm. * Resolution: (in pairs of lines per 1mm) is not less than 50 in the center and 22 on the edge of frame. * Filter mount M 58 x 0.75 mm. * The lens is made off glass and metal, no any plastic parts. * The lens was made in 1986 at KMZ plant at Krasnogorsk town near Moscow city in USSR. * Pretty in using. * Black painting.
