Handwoven Silk Stole "Satsuki *04"
Material: 100% Silk
Size: Approx. 60cm x 200cm (excluding 9cm fringe)
This large stole is meticulously handwoven using high-quality raw silk sourced from a reputable silk yarn wholesaler in Nishijin, Kyoto. The silk threads are dyed in various colors before being woven into a delicate, airy fabric that drapes beautifully and feels exceptionally light.
The two-tone design features beige and white silk threads dyed separately, creating a sophisticated interplay of color. Woven in a grid pattern are strands of natural golden Muga silk, a rare wild silk from India. These add a subtle, captivating texture and depth to the fabric's appearance.
With a fine warp density of 840 threads, and using gently twisted silk yarn that has undergone a five-step refining process, the stole possesses an organza-like crispness and an incredibly smooth, refined feel. Silk stoles are known for their excellent moisture-wicking, breathability, and heat-retaining properties. Whether draped over your shoulders for air-conditioned spaces or tied loosely around your neck for warmth, this stole is a perfect companion throughout the seasons.
