Workshop Description

**◌ Class Schedule ◌** Tuesday・Wednesday・Thursday・Saturday・Sunday 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM Each session is 3 hours, including time for rest, tea, and tidying up tools. You are free to choose your preferred time slot within the above hours, for example, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. **After completing your registration, please leave a message indicating your desired class time.** · · · We believe everyone possesses creativity. All it takes is a willingness to slow down, to listen to your inner voice. At Mieko’s Pottery Atelier, our aim isn't to teach a specific technique or to replicate a teacher's work. Instead, we hope you'll connect with your surroundings and, through imagination, create a piece that is uniquely yours, reflecting your personal aesthetic. · · · ◖ 1-Session Experience ◗ NT$1,200 (Hand-building) ◖ 2-Session Experience ◗ NT$1,900 (Hand-building + Glazing) · · · **[ Course Content ]** Three Hand-building Techniques・Multiple Themes - Pinch Pot Method (e.g., cups/bowls) - Slab Building Method (e.g., plates/lidded boxes/mugs) - Coil Building Method (e.g., vases/bowls) ✔️ Choose one theme and one technique to create your piece. We focus on small to medium-sized vessels, and you can expect to complete at least one piece per session. ✔️ For the 1-Session Experience, glazing is limited to a single color, applied by the studio. ✔️ For multi-color glazing or self-glazing, please register for the [2-Session Experience] or [4-Session Experience]. ✔️ Participants in the 2-Session Experience will attend two separate classes. After the first session, your piece will undergo bisque firing (approx. 1-4 weeks), after which we will notify you to schedule your glazing session. ▫️ If you have other ideas beyond these themes, feel free to discuss them with the instructor. · · · **[ Notes ]** *The fee includes instruction, glazes, clay, and tool usage. *Kiln firing fees are charged separately, based on the size of each piece. *There is no limit to the number of pieces you can create within the class time. *Bisque and glaze firing typically takes 1-4 weeks.
