Leather Description: Vegetable-tanned cowhide leather is a dynamic material. Vegetable tanning is one of the oldest tanning methods, using tanning agents derived from components like tannins extracted from plants. This process involves repeatedly soaking the hide in tanning solutions of varying concentrations, taking one to two months to complete. Vegetable-tanned leather is free from harmful chemicals like heavy metals and is safe for direct skin contact. It retains the leather's natural texture.
